Architectural continuity and a respect for context are essential to the design of the Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay. Accordingly, homes will be sympathetic to classic Anglo-Caribbean architecture and inspired by local island architecture. The goal of architectural and landscape design on Ambergris Cay is to artfully combine the sophisticated aspects of British West Indies character with the more informal, vernacular qualities of Caribbean buildings and gardens.
Site planning, as well as architectural and landscape design, are controlled by the Architectural Review Board (ARB), a permanent committee of Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay Community Association Ltd. The ARB exercises control to:
- Oversee harmonious development of Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay;
- Preserve and enhance the natural environment and beauty of the Community's property;
- Preserve and enhance the privacy and tranquility of individual homesites;
- Assist owners in obtaining maximum utilization and enjoyment of their property within the applicable rules of the Community Association.
