Over the Easter Break we had a pile of kids on island! They all enjoyed mastering the art of Easter Egg Decorating with food coloring, paint and markers. They also enjoyed our annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! Chocolate eggs and surprises were hidden throughout the gardens at Calico Jack’s and within the first 10 minutes of the hunt, all of the hidden treats were found! Chocolate eggs do not last too long down here in the sun so these found treasures were hastily transported to the cottage fridges or quickly unwrapped and consumed. The kids also enjoyed other activities over the weekend including Algae Dissections, Fish Printing, Jewelry Making, Nature Scavenger Hunts, Kayaking and a Night Walk.
